Don’t make me use my Obi-Wan-Kanobi brain wash sh1t on you…
Intending to go in March with LOT.
Help me out with this 2 day thing they talk of. Is it 2 days on the track or is it hotels included? I can’t fathom it out from the website. It surely can’t be 750 spondies just for the track unless there’s a 20 car limit!
750 is for the 2 days on track, you will have to sort your own hotel room, but JF does a good job of sorting us a special rate at one of the hotels
As for cars on track, it is mostly deserted

You on commission Ade ? deserted ???
JF will sort the hotel but don’t expect any food as there’s normally only 1 burger between us !!! And they run out of chips
To be fair we did get a great meal in town on the last night thanks to Sean’s rental & my ex taxi skills
Epic trip - do not miss it
750 for 2 days sounds bit too dear tho…but i m sure will be a great expereince!!
I moaned at Mr Fox last year on the costs but ended up booking it anyway. If you just think of it as a normal TD then it is expensive - you need to think of it as a road trip with a load of mates and plenty of social chucked in.
Then it all makes sense !!!
The trip costs last year (not including all the sh*it I did to my car beforehand) were around 2K for the TD, travel, accom, food and fuel
EPIC!
Hmm, always wanted to do Spa, having only stopped in the village for lunch on the way to the 'ring a few times. I’d better check my calendar.
Is someone on here likely to take charge with regards to organising accomodation, tunnel crossing time, meet points etc? Or do we fend for ourselves?

Mr Fox is the official Spa travel agent - you book direct with BAT for the TD, Eurotunnel for the trip across or ferry depending on locations etc but Mr Fox normally organises the accom
The Eurotunnel guys make our own way down to the chunnel and all meet up on the other side for a gentle drive down to Spa
Sean and I do the taxi services
We usually arrange the tunnel crossing for late morning on the Sunday and you can then return like me on the Tuesday early evening or stay in the hotel for another night like a lot do.
As for the hotel Mr Fox has arranged some reserved rooms at a discounted rate in a local hotel, then it is up to individuals to book them directly with the hotel, it has all worked well the last few years
Ah that’s good, I don’t mind booking things direct with the hotel, but its always good to know I’m booking into the right hotel, or onto the same tunnel crossing. Hooking up with everyone on our or the other side of the tunnel has worked well in the past, and leads to an ‘entertaining’ drive to the destination
I’ll spend a bit more time getting aquainted with the BAT website
I’ll start confirming everything as soon as. It really is an excellent social gathering…Never a dull moment and nobody is left to fend for themselves…it’s all about the giggle and there is always loads to giggle about
You wont be a starnger
Lol how come Toby and Wendy get to be on the BaT homepage
I’ve fallen at the first hurdle!..
I’m required to have attended a minimum of 1 book-a-track event in order to be able to book the spa event!
Errr…

Supercharged car mate !!!
You’ll be fine, that’s not an issue. Plenty of us know the circuit quite well now, Sean B’s on hand and as helpful as ever and so are JSRacing hopefully and a bonus would be the Legends that are The Edwards boy’s…I speculate but either way…You will be fine
Yep I’m sure I’ll be fine, just can’t complete the online booking process. Guess I’ll have to give them a call.
