Spa's Up !!!!!

see you in the bar at the hotel, am travelling down during the evening, hope to be there by 9pm.

Been getting all my stuff ready, my list

Passport
Driving licence
Car Insurance documents
AA Euro cover document
V5
Euro tunnel confirmation
Hotel confirmation
Bookatrack indemnity forms

Fluro jackets
Bulb kit
Warning triangle
Breathalyser
Crash helmets

Missed anything?

Why are you taking your V5??

It is compulsory to carry your registration document in Europe I think?

This is correct, but I would take a copy , in case of theft etc etc , a copy is acceptable , I know having been recovered / repatriated in various cars…

wow didn’t know that.

Can’t think of anything else ade.

I’ve not got the BaT indemnity forms but I’m sure I can fill them in on the day

Topping up on the other side Matt too. Always good to grab a drink before starting the second leg

Will be using last years 888s too, lol have only done 2 bloody soaking wet track days since!

Zippy fleece looks good btw :sunglasses:

Have a fantastic time boys and stay safe…

Seconded! :sunglasses:

Just checked everything off on Ade’s list.

Christian, we are leaving in 20 mins ish (wife’s packing dependant)

OK - Knackered AO48s it is then…will top up the other side then at the first station on the left as you come out of the train drop off point- always a good place to meet up if we get split up on the train also…

Who navigating this year…?

Have great time. Some interesting cars on the BaT list! One at 705hp, you’ll see him off round the twisties.

So how was spa? Any interesting moments?

Awesome few days had by all!!

Personally I had just as much fun off track as I did on it, I deffo drank too much beer.

Apparently I have committed to be Quo’s Finance’s maid of honour at their upcoming wedding?!?!?!

I also got to practice my bar man skills, much to the annoyance of the hotel staff.

Good crowd and a great few days.

Had a great time, nice to meet some new faces.
Spa is a fantastic track, can see why the F1 drivers love it so much.
Sean had some serious memory loss on tuesday morning, im sure theres a few things hes still forgotten.
Car being fettled with after a hard 2 days punishment.
There was some unfortunate incidents on track which I hope the people in the exige involved are recovering from, wasnt their fault.
Looking forward to next year.
Hope your working on your speech sean!!

So a great trip yet again, another Exige fest at Spa. All bar Ade and John we met in one way or another at the Chunnel. The trip across France and Belgium was as easy as ever and the Hotel De La Source was great and incredibly convenient. As Sean’s already said we had as much fun off the track as much as on it, never a dull moment  Alll the cars looked fantastic as youd expect in particular Bombers Cadena and Graham 661s JPS jobby…stunning! Then again as is the JSRacing 550 belonging to Quo, thanks for taking me out mate…on full boost lol

Driving etiquette was generally good both days, with just one unfortunate yet serious issue involving Stephens Track-Club Exige and a complete and utter ck wk f*ing toer sending the Exige heavily into the tyre wall through Blanchimont and its two occupants to hospital. Stephen again were all gutted for you mate and would appreciate an update on the two occupants.

I had numerous sessions with fellow Exigers on track playing cat a mouse and a pax with Wendy Tobys other half returning the spin I had with her at the Bus Stop the previous day, lol priceless! So just to say a big thank you to everyone Cliff, Adrian, Ade, Jacky, Chris, Zo, Sean, Helen, Toby, Wendy, Pete, Graham, Matt and of course John for suppling valuable trackside support. I cant remember the chaps name in the White S2 with the Monster repackable Exhaust.

That would be Victor…

JF thanks for your part in sorting out this trip.
Great to meet you all at last.

Graeme

Fricking awesome couple of days, I bought my bookatrack pictures as proof I even sometime am not scared of the apex  just eau rouge and blanchimont.
My heart also goes out to the ali bodied Jag that had steering failure :frowning:

Had a great time guys (and girls), and have some fantastic memories to keep. :sunglasses:

I never thought I’d think my Exige was one of the slowest cars on the planet - but when those Porsche Cup cars and Radicals pass you, well it must be a whole different experience for those lucky folks! Despite their terrible manners at times

I’ve got some in car footage of our little group outing on track, not the best quality, but it does at least capture Toby throwing dust at me through one of the corners  Is there any way I can post up a 1Gb vid?

Great to meet everyone, what a fantastic venue, road trip and atmosphere
