Just a bit damp but a drying line… but lots of rubber down from the BritCar over the w/e made it a bit slippy. I am sure it dried out this pm.

Well despite the rain and a very wet track I think we all had a good day, some may say �spintastic� in fact !
Almost dried out by lunch only to rain straight after sadly…or not lol 
Firstly great seeing everyone Marcus & Julia, Ian, Pete, Chris, Dimitris, Simon & Mark
I shared JP�s top tuition with Dimitris. What he said before we got into the car was �forget about every apex, I�ll show the most definitive wet race line in the UK� and holy cow it was amazing! While almost every other car struggled to hold the dry line on a wet circuit I just bombed round the outside of the track, it was the single most best ever value for money tuition I�ve ever had. I learnt so much today about driving on a wet circuit it�s untrue. I�ve driven other circuits but this filled the gaps perfectly and when it rained after lunch I couldn�t have been happier. Unfortunately as I got quicker in the wet I started to have a problem with my ABS as my front left kept grabbing early activating the ABS and unsettling the car�.SPIN! Marcus deactivated it for me but the grab from the left was still there and I also seemed to lock up with little on no pressure applied especially at Vale, Abbey Maggots and �wahey� Becketts! Anyway had a cuppa, went out at 430 to a mostly dry track with the brakes seemly ok in this condition but still bloody slippy in places. Only got six dryish laps in which were fairly crap tbh as my line was stuck somewhere between dry and wet but that didn�t bother me as the day as a whole was brilliant!

Hey Jonny, I am here with a login, but as you can see have never really posted much. I actually had my login first, years ago ha ha!! 
It was a great day, I am pretty rubbish in the wet so it was good learning and confidence building. Out of OrangeD and I, I think I got the 2 dryest sessions or the day which was good (for me) .
Sorry for holding anyone up whilst I was trying to string at least a few corners together without having to slow mid-flow to let people pass, there were real clumps of traffic at time which was a bit distracting for someone learning the circuit under mixed conditions, but I guess that’s the nature of a circuit like Silverstone and having a vast mix of speed of cars, grippy tyres, and talent, and there were a lot of variations there!!
Nice to meet you again Jonny, and also some other Exiges chaps - good to see the people behind the forum that Marcus avidly follows.

I’m going to take Marus’s advice and get my calipers rebuilt now the cars retired for the year as well as new pads and discs so see what happens. I’ll give you guys a call regards the 888’s when I have some news.

I would have liked a bit of dry running but the bit after lunch Jules was driving then it pissed it down again 
It was so greasy at the beginning of the day I doing the sighting laps thinking even after this I’m not sure I can go much quicker, but those fears were short lived
