rear diffuser....

PM Sent

Are the edwards boys good at returning emails as asked about the diffuser and splitter a while ago and no reply

Same here, was told one will be ready in 2 weeks that was about last July

Nothing since.

I think it’s not a full time job for them, so they do it more as a service to the Exige community. I can only speak from personal experience, when I bought mine many moons ago they went out of the way to deliver it to a trackday for me.

I’d check the email is still live - someone on here should know current contact details???

Yeah your right Steve about it being a sideline.
talked to Martin a few years ago at the Donny Lotus show about there Honda conversion.
He was very helpful.

Shame i cant get the diffuser.

so what are the differences between the edwards and the eliseparts one?

Guys

I’m seeing the Edwards Boyz tomorrow evening - I’ll refer them to this thread

Probably my fault they’re busy at the moment - I keep asking them to do more jobs on my car - sorry

Come on Pesky - make some room

They are near Loughborough.

Has anyone got Martin’s mobile number they can PM ???

You have pm

maybe a group buy is in order

I’ve almost finished my design for a rear diffueser. Will be similar in dimensions to the Edwards one but made slightly differently. I’ll be posting the design up in the public domain on here so if anyone wants to copy it, they’re most welcome, although TBH you’re probably better off going with the Edwards one as it’s a known quantity.

I’ve only gone and done this because down in here in Australasia, the price of freighting a bulky item like a diffuser makes buying one like an Edwards completely uneconomical, so it’s cheaper to design and make one locally. Reckon I can probably get the price of manufacture of mine down to about $250, or about a hundred quid in local money for most of you

George,

We make diffusers. Powder coated aluminium in silver or black. 3 types. std, std + 2 fins and extended with 2 fins. They can be mounted flush like std ones or spaced to allow better engine bay ventilation.

No point owning a sheetmetal/powder coating business if you can’t make a few car bits for your mates.

maybe a group buy is in order

I will be after one

well theres 2!

Okay Guys

I’ve just spoken with Martin. Normal price is 110, however for a group buy of 6 (or 9) units, he’ll do them for 100.

If they need to be delivered, there is an additional 20 to be added to the above prices.

Martin is about to fabricate a new batch (3-4 weeks before ready), so if you want to be one of the six (or nine), email him @ [email protected]

HTH

any discounts for a splitter as well

Foz

Suggest you take that up with Martin, when you email him about the diffuser
