Please support John (Con's brother in law)

John, I’ve got an idea! Next year, run a bit faster, the guy in the lead has been out of the sun for about 20hrs less.

Some good news, next year’s event can be completed in time for the Good Friday Exiges.com gathering. Who’s in?

Rob, John seems to be running with a younger relation - Gary - who seems to have struggled through that last leg. Was there any news on him? Hope he makes it.

Not sure how the drop out is less than 5%!

In all seriousness, it’s great that John is now 20% over his funding target but £2400 is nothing for this effort; it should be enough to cure cancer!

I was thinking the same Ian - that’s like £15 a mile :open_mouth: What can we do to help him get more sponsorship. I hope that everyone reading this will feel compelled to donate even if its only a couple of quid…go on do it now it take 30s!

Has anyone posted on Seloc?..or any other forums they are active on?

“Behind the last competitor is a camel”

Now there’s an incentive to keep running . . . :open_mouth:

WOW!!!

HE’S ONLY GONE & DONE IT!

Totally amazing, I’m speechlees!

12/4/13 - final position of 752 out of 1100 - amazing stuff, well done John! Thank you for all your donations , it means so much

12/4/13 - Stage 5 - the final stage of the race complete! John has done it! 624th position today for the final stage. We’ve never seen him move so fast on the GPS tracker, Thomas thinks he had all his energy drinks today!

Truly astonishing effort, well done John!

Fantastic effort, cant comprehend how tough this must have been. Well done indeed.

Totally astounding, very well done!!

 Well done John indeed.

He’s still compus mentis too…

14/4/13- Message from John “FINISHED! Yeah! Got my medal and kissed by a Frenchman twice- Patrick the originator of the race! I think I have got the camp record and no blisters at all! PS - I stink - no washing in 8 days, one set of clothes- it is pretty bad!”

Wonder if he means the record for “being camp”?

Dumb struck, awe struck and pretty well speechless. Brilliant achievement John, well done!

Done.

Great effort
