Looking good, I think that those wheels are a must have for anyone with a 240 Cup. Seems a bit of a swizz that Lotus didn’t spec them in the first place.
I’m still undecided about the wing. Saw the pictures of it on Gav’s car, and now these and I can’t make up my mind. Does anyone have any pictures of an S2 with the Plans through the clam wing fitted?
Following on from the S1 Motorsport thread I couldn’t help but notice the rear tow link brace on the car. Is that one of the Lotus ones, and does it attach to the chassis in the centre?
BTW purely for cosmetic reasons, I think your car would benefit with a smaller front plate. GT Grafix can do one 470mm x 96mm, so it just covers the plinth, and is still in the standard legal font size. Just email them. Think mine was �13. Just my 2 cents, perhaps worth less than that

I remeber reading the rear brace was only good for a couple of thousand miles is this an upgraded version?
The zaust etc look geat but do prefer the 4x4 style rear numberplate.
As for the front I just leave it off and wedge it on the dash.
Did you discuss with Graham an uprated intercooler? i remeber talking to him about it before I went to Bemani.
I think I would go for the through clam version of the rear wing although there is no going back then

On the bar across the back…I guess thats the toe link…I think Graham said that Lotus are somewhat arbitary on fitting them but this was on the car when I had it, maybe because it was owned by lotus ECU chap before me…but it doesn’t bolt in the middle just at the ends!
I do know where you’re coming from on the wing; but the grip is unreal so I don’t really care how it looks when I’m not sure!

I have talked to Graham about the bigger intercooler and it is on my agenda along with an upgraded ECU and an extended roof scoop to get more cold air in…along with sealing the rear clam and chopping out what little boot there is to drag the warm air out! we’ll see!
I spoke to Gav (tarmac Terrorist) at Oulton about getting hold of a second rear clam to do all these mods to, and add quick release, as if I do this stuff I’d like to be able to offer it withall the orginial bits as well.
But the jury is still out on Plan(s) B
