Yes on the VX i just disabled the front drivers side, then the light came on the dash.
Reconnect and restart car and fix again.
Yup disconnected the sensor and much better. Now fitted a new set of standard pads and it’s ok. Still not amazing but will have to consider which route to go down. 4 pots and larger discs with an ABS cut of I think.

Forgot to ask earlier but as a 2006 car do you have the extruded ali pedals or the later/current steel pedal box which shouldn’t suffer from the earlier cars pedal feel?
My 2006MY car has the extruded pedals, but the SC cars I believe won’t have the issue due to a revised pedal box anyway?
