Oulton Trackday 3rd July with LOT

Looks like you all had a great time as usual. Really sorry that I didn’t make it along to this either. On the plus side I did win a couple of bottles in the draw at the school fete. On the negative, one of them was bubble bath

Lol we had ours today with Fee running a stall while I was at OP . Just look forward to Spa Will, you were missed today but your ears should have been burning

Good to see you on the grass Mike after that tank slapper I pulled in front of you   It’s just so easy to carry too much speed into that corner lol

Awesome day, great to meet you all & finally put some faces to the names, then some real names to the forum names!!

I wasn’t sure at the start if I’m honest but absolutely loved it at the end, what a fab circuit!

Some great pics (Mike… I will say no more! Mind you I was also partial to that bit of grass!)

Thanks to all who came & chatted & thanks to Dave for organising the Indian!

Mike, next time I’ll bring some batteries for your camera!!

All in all a brilliant day & my little n/a did me proud!

A couple of films from early in the day before the batteries went flat.

Mike,

Did you find out what the problem was at the rear?

No not really, i,m going to have a look this afternoon and then get it booked in for a geo.

I might re-bush the rear suspension.

It was a right pain driving around the tail happy back end, well sometimes it was fun :sunglasses:

I think I must have set the record for the most bugs killed yesterday. Got back at 2230, which I thought was pretty good!

What a great day, cheers all!

2230 bugs - it must have taken ages count them all  I look forward to being in convoy with you next time Ian :sunglasses:

Great to hear you all had fun.

And not on the back of an AA truck for a change hopefully ?

So sorry I missed this, sounds like another great day.
Planned to drop in and tag on for curry but had to do some serious training on the bike (101 miles in 7 hours} for France trip later in the year.

Was an awesome day, great to see everyone.

I miss my Lotus!!!

I managed a couple of laps without running out of fuel here !

That was me you were catching Marc, that slide i had right at the end coming out of the banked hairpin felt a lot bigger in the car than it looked on film.

I think you mean 4.44

The poor guy in the yellow gt3 must have turned the same colour as your car !! lol

Marc

The guy in yellow GT3 is Howard - I’ve known him for around 12 years since our Sccoby & Evo days, & we both live in the Bolton area. He did a few trackdays way back in 1998, & he only got the GT3 3 weeks ago. I’d assured him that the exiges.com guys were a good crowd, & that LOT/Bookatrack were our preferred TDOs. Obviously, he was somewhat cautious yesterday, but hopefully he’ll now feel encouraged to get some more days under his belt.

stunning car and super clean
