Inch - I’m sure that most us run silenced de-cat pipes, plus one of Lotuspower’s massive silencers. Mine was 101db (5600rpm) last Saturday at Oulton. System has been on for a couple of years, & quite a few trackdays, so not as quiet as when new. To be honest, I reckon that in this day & age of noise testing, a new silencer will be needed every 2 to 3 years (unless you get a re-packable one).
PS However your “whooping” whilst driving, is louder than your mota!!!
I think Con had some issues and was tested a couple of times till it passed, he was blaming it on someone else revving their car while he was being tested
I actually mentioned to MarcP how your car seemed to howl when you were going through the noise testing Inch… it did sound awesome, but don’t suppose thats much good if you don’t get on track !
ya could be right there pesky …lol, tested 108db first time ,yeah no intention ov making it quiter lol, mark p and phil did a top job ,anyway loud saves lives i think the saying goes ,or sumot like that…lol, anyway im saying it only revs to 6800 next time …shhh
Wonder if it was because I got mine tested soon after the sighting laps ie nicely warmed up? Mind you, Con’s car is also the same set up , well, apart from having DaveP up its chuff at the testing

Could have something to do with your being nice and warm Rob.
Mine was noise tested shortly after the first time the car had been started since the exiges day in April at Anglesey
Oh and it was 108 db the first time - and that was with me at 5750rpm and DaveP at 8k rpm lol- 104 the 2nd time
