Not Exigeless soon....

Not sure about 120 kgs but
Pro-alloy 60 litre tank, Forged wheels, Lighter rear exhaust silencer are all here awaiting fitment.
Thought I had better get the first 1000 miles done before the moding begins

Still not sure why they don’t put a bigger tank in at the factory.

Development cost? Homologation ?
New tank an the way apparently, told Its going to be 50 litres.
Think I prefer the 60 LTE proalloy

Love the 360 cup, really want a grey or white one. Are there any left? Love the red bits.

Do it Chris!

Dave , that all sounds very expensive.
Your wife must be very worried. Perhaps I could ease the worry by taking those magnesium type 18 hub carriers off you at a ‘fair’ price. Buyers market

Expensive noooooo
Might be a buyer’s market but I ain’t sellin…so it’s not a buyer’s market really.
Got 730 miles on it now, first servuce booked for Thursday and that 225 miles away so 1000 miles easily within reach. Then at donnington on Saturday and Sunday. Woohoo

Looking forwards to seeing it at Donny next weekend. Should be a great weekend

Im at donny next sunday too. I will make sure i track you down dave.

Should be easy to find. Look for a v6 with mega red,red wheels!!!

Fitted cruise control this evening. Total transformed the car for motorway / dual carriage way use!
Also fitted front mud flaps ( deleted by lotus on cup cars) hopefully will stop some stone chips on the sills. Not big upgrades but I have to start somewhere

:sunglasses:

Just remember to steer occasionally Dave

How did I miss this thread??

Only tonight I’ve been discussing with Mrs K possibly maybe thinking about selling the 2-Eleven at some point and changing to a new Exige. My car doesn’t get enough use. I adore it but it’s too compromised to get my monies worth out if it. These days road use is virtually nil (my last drive out I got drenched) and a track day costs me £xxx a pop.

Dave, congratulations on the new car, it looks fantastic. Makes me want one even more. Damn you!

Well two months in and the car is in bits!!!
Dampers returned to Nitron to be changed to three ways and a re-valve. (The lotus ones are very very restrictive in terms of adjustment)
Also having the lengths altered so that hopefully the rear rebound can be adjusted without removing the rear wheel…
Spring rates to be changes (Fronts by a lot)
Already changed the standard pads to PF’s … wow what a difference
Forged wheels have now been changed from black to candy red (to match the originals)
Front uprights have now been machined to allow an acceptable amount of negative front camber (Standard maxed out at 1.0 deg)
60 Ltr tank ready to go in (std is 40 Ltr’s and that doesn’t last very long on circuit, even on the road panic starts to set in at 200 miles)
Awaiting delivery of a Braille Lithium battery that will save about 15 kgs
With weight savings on the wheels (8 kgs) The fuel tank ( about 5 kgs) and the battery (15kgs) With half a tank of fuel I should see the car under 1100 kgs

The first month didn’t really see me gel with the car but now I am ‘adjusting it’ to my liking, I really love this car…

Really looking forward to seeing it in action in October.

Not to everyone’s taste but I love the colour so who cares!!!

Very cool Dave :sunglasses:
They are a close shade to Yvonne’s S1 party wheels
You just need to paint the calipers now

Noooooo love the silver calipers against the red wheels. I haven’t seen another 360 with them silver, they all seem to be black!!!

Dave Rocks :sunglasses:

Only joking Dave, calipers look great in silver.
How are you getting on with the other mods that you have done to the car?
