My new V6 Exige...

that looks awesome )))))

mee too… would love to see that !

It’ll be neon lights next

Well its been a year guys!!

I have done my 6000 miles warranty in her this year and will be insuring it for 2.5k next year.

Had a few small niggly bits under warranty done but nothing to write about. All good then in that dept.

Where has the time gone again?

That’s hellish depreciation. :frowning:
If it eases your pain at all, I’ll give you 3k cash to take it off your hands

Guys, my V6 will be going up for sale soon. Anyone interested please get in touch.

oooooh what’s going in it’s place?

That was quick Gav, are you after an Evora next?
Good luck with the sale.

Another lotus joined the stable Gav ?

Reducing the collection down a bit. The two race Elises are going up for sale as well so if anyoe is thinking of doing the uk/european cup next year give me a nod before they get advertised.

Got my name down on a new car yes, i will reveal all in due course as soon as i have all the details myself…

My V6 comes with a few bits especially done for me by Motorpsort that you woulsnt normally get.

Full spec -

V6 Cup Car in special order Pewter Grey with extra black detailing around the lights.

It is the No13 plaqued car, Lotus would not normally issue this number to a car but seeing as it was being registered on a 2013 plate they let me have it. It comes with a private registration that it has been registered on the car from new - NO 13 CUP

Body coloured wing mirrors and front access panel (comes with the original black access panel).

Repositioned fire extinguisher put in front of pax seat instead of at the bottom of the pax footwell (easier to remove when not needed and when carrying passengers with it in ).

Contrasting red fire extinguisher to match other external trim (would be silver normally)

Alarm, immobilisor and tracker fitted (Cup cars would normally not have these)

Aircon

Inertia belts and harness both present

Lotus Sports exhaust (std one with noise flap will be given to new owner, less than 1k miles on it).

FSH @ Lotus Motorsport, the car will have its next service due in April pre-paid at Motorsport for the new owner to redeem (service items only).

The car is currently at Motorsport being prep’d for sale and having all the latest updates and revisisons being done before it is sold. (brand new front 2peice discs being changed under recall, new rear tyres being fitted, dash revisions, new boot relaese, etc, etc.) evrything will be bang upto date for the new owner.

6k on the clock, never used in race mode, never tracked. Fastet standing start logged in the ECU is stood at over 7 seconds (full ecu print out available directly from Motorsport). Over half the milage currently in the clock was accounted for on our trip to Italy last year.

Portfolio of proffesiaonl pictures of the car taken by Lotus on their track at Hethel.

Carpets and foot rest

Set of matching luggage that fits perfectly will come with it (2 boot bags and a rucksack that fits behind the seats/a-frame)

60 ltr pro-alloy tank fitted by motorsport from new.

If only I had an excess of conkers…

Stop sha…g then mate!!!

Sad to see her going though mind. If I could afford to keep her I would but there’s something else taken my fancy and the v6 has to be sacrificed… :frowning:

well, had a great day being shown around the factory yesterday with my mate, who drove me down there in his F-Type.
Scott Walker was very good in giving us the tour and an explanation of all the stages Elise, Exige and Evora’s go through during production…fantastic quality of the cars, which in turn is testimony to the workmanship of the men and women hand-building Lotus cars.
I got to see my car!!! :fantastic: , which is complete and is waiting for delivery to dealers, sometime next week, so I’m hoping to pick it up first week in March.
took a grainy pic. at factory:
