Ladies and gentlemen,
I received a phone call earlier this afternoon from Lotus Drivers’ Club at Brands Hatch Lotus Fest. I knew it was BH as I could hear racing engines in the background.
It was good news. I had won a bottle of Autoglym polish in the raffle. Was I still at BH the lady asked. No , said I, I’m at home in Lancashire and have not been to the festival. But, she said, I have your phone number and name.
So, some generous member of the Lotus community has kindly bought me a ticket.
So, many thanks to my mysterious benefactor. I will share the Autoglym with you if we have a polish-in
Did you buy a ticket at the Silverstone Classic? If so, it’ll be a “roll-over”, mon ami 
Mystery solved! And I thought you, or one of our other Lotus chums, had treated me!
I’ll give the Autoglym to my valeter for his next visit.
Was a cracking meeting and Mr Golding should be proud of what he’s built up.
After following Tim there, arrived to see Randy duelling for second place with a Mosler in GTCup. Classic David & Goliath stuff with Randy monstering him under braking but not having an answer for the mega power of the yank iron.
At lunch, Tim spied Wes coming in from the rally stage. After a quick chat and icecream Wes took Tim and then me out for a pax. What a hoot 
Great car and great driving , I was giggling like a schoolgirl. Cheers Wes that made my day!
Final stop to see the Edwards and everyone at the LDC tent… Thanks Chris, for letting my kids crawl all over your racecar matey. After watching the start of the Cup race it was clear that everyone had had enough apart from me so we bailed,…tired and hot.
Thanks Tim for the ticket and putting up with my kids.
Really want my car back now.

Glad you all had a great day. I had a run out towards North Yorks in search of sunshine and failed. Miserably. Rain, and more rain.

Don’t blame me Tim , that will be the mr whipy you had just before you jumped in. Actually that’s not an unusual reaction 
especially when reading a map in the dark. At least it can all be hosed out
