Lots of stuff- speedline, Carbon fibre wing etc

Cheers Foz for the wing…it’s gone to a good home. Steve sent me this from his mobile as proof that it’s now in situ :

I spoke to Martin today and he said Steve has already applied some stripes to it

Good luck with the sale of the other bits…I would make you an offer but i think you’re fed up of dealing with me

Looks the dogs mate! Really sets off the black!

Somehow, I really reckon that wing looks great on the Honda cars… mine is not fast enough to make it work!

Will be good to draft behind you though!

BTW, who did the original stipes?

Bloody Ozzie shirtlifter!

I said draft from behind… and that is not sheep s…g!

BTW, who did the original stipes?

They were done by Sincs just over a year ago - they have a specialist guy that comes in.

Is it rude to ask how much???

Is it rude to ask how much???

It was part of a considerable bling treatment sincs did on the car and I remembered that the invoice was still in my camera bag where I had,…ahem,…you know put it so I knew where it was…cough…not so it was concealed from my missus or anything

It was 199+vat - which I thought was bloody reasonable.

There were a couple of other more expensive line-items on that invoice.

Foz still has a MS engine cover and roof for sale by the way.

That is/was bloody good value!.. and makes this idea quite appealing!

I have been internally mulling about doing the same style as yours (really suits) on my New Aluminium… poss is black/graphite… Thoughts?

Will keep my wheels black though!!!

Do it

If you don’t get on with it I’m sure one of the S2 boys will lend you a hairdryer to aid with removal

Keeping wheels black = good idea

Stripes would go really well with a MS Roof and Engine Cover like the ones Foz is selling

Black stripes are the obvious, easy option. You could actually be more adventureous & go for red, or orange, or yellow, or krypton green, or Renault Racing Blue stripes. At the end of the day, pick summat that YOU like, & bollox to what anyone else thinks! But I would say that

PS How about a bright colour broad centre stripe, with a thinner black/other colour stripe either side of that. ie stripe diameters same as Benja’s, which I think look the dog’s danglies.

I’ve been thinking a lot about a motorpsort roof, Foz is selling one ?

yup, pics on page 1 or the photobucket link

How about some proper “non bling” wheels?

Was thinking the roof would go with the wheels …

Finally got the car back this weekend after its extended stay with the Edwards (thanks Martin) sporting its new ex-Foz ex-Pesky wing.

I am now in a position to confirm that the Specialised tailored car cover that my car normally lives under does not fit an Exige with a fxxx-off MS rear wing

It’s currently sitting on the drive with its arse exposed until I get busy with the scissors and velcro

Specialised will do a bespoke service if you ask them.

Yup I guess you’re right but probably $$$. I’m already on my second and this one is only a year old. I might give them a call before I make the current one unsellable…doh
