Looking to stiffen my rear end....

Could be blowing smoke but no reason to, he went back to the centre raving about it. Personally, I prefer my S1 largely because the S2 just feels heavy and the brakes lack feel.

Of course, the point is that all set ups are about compromise. So a suspension that is best for a track may not not be best for high speed lane change, alpine circuit, split friction surfaces, negative camber, handling circuit, low friction surface…all of which you get at Millbook.

Also, it is all about decreasing returns, any one improvement may make a change, but the second, third and forth all less so.

Back on thread, I would expect the shear panel gets most of what can be gained from rear subframe stiffness.

Yea looks that way, I understand the compromise but I can’t imagine the standard setup on track would rock an instructor world.

Lots of things you can do, all depends on how far you want to take it…

Shear panel
Structural undertray
Rear ARB
Extra gussetting welded into the subframe
Full roll cage
Suspension bushing

JF, seriously I would deffo fit some rose jointed bushes.

My Nitron ones made a very noticable difference indeed… the car felt SO much sharper on turn in and feedback.

Considering the total cost of these, under 500.00, in the scheme of what you are doing, I would recommend this mod very highly! :sunglasses:

The Nitron ones also look very cool and are beautifully made!

Already in Pete, there’s not a lot that hasn’t been done to my car mate lol

Cool!

Looking forward to doing some on board filming again at Anglesey!!!

the shear panel is cheap and easy to fit and if I noticed the difference you will
