Yes, thought it might! “Lucky” Pete’s black Ultima was also rather fabulous, although not (yet?) a classic, by any conventional meaning of the word. So, who’s up for Silverstone, anyone??

…but Rob is just a bit too modest to tell you that his car was voted second favourite and he had to make a speech and everything… We all voted for his car, of course, but most of us were engaged in a paper aeroplane ‘air war’ in the restaurant at the time… and so missed the moment of glory. Rob had to be prised away from a dog fight with a menu…

As far as I’m aware none of the Ultimas collected a single vote but the carbon fibre wheels were awesome.

I’m a big fan of the Lotus Exige, I also were at Le Mans Classic 2008 and I really enjoyed seeing all the Lotus Exige. I took photos of all the Exige I came across.
