According to Monika at the Ring Hotel Am Tiergarten (Name’s a link) the dates are yet to be released (after March), obviously she needs the calender for business. The rooms are booked under that basis, she’s keeping an eye out. Or you can try here… Ring Dates. I have also seen The Nurburgring Experience site with just Monday but am not sure how that ties up really…
It’s just because I’m jealous that I simply can’t justify it this year…all my money will be going into moving to and then propping up a tatty old money pit…and soft furnishings

I’ve made a little error in the itinerary, I’ve put the wrong Hotel…It’s not XXTHE RADISSON PALACEXX! The hotel is the other one THE RADISSON BALMORAL. This one is on the out skirts not in the centre, easier for the track. If you’ve made a booking cancel it as I’m sorting a group rate under Exiges.com for August, I’ll up date costs tomorrow. Also, if the Ring is a no go Tuesday I suggest we book The Radisson Balmoral for three nights and play it by ear until later in the year, they only require a little notice…or some may choose to go on the Tuesday evening?

The guy who bought my car drove it virtually non stop back to Munich! And has done track days since!!!

Stayed in the Balmoral a few times, very nice indeed, the restaurant and bar are pretty pricy though.
Is that a different hotel to last year?
Balmoral looks pricey compared to the Palace. I got a special “non refundable” offer on the palace, half the price of the Barmoral. So unless they didn’t mean it AND you get a great deal I’ll be staying put.
Lol said like a true Scot Listen I’ll find out what’s what tomorrow, I do know you can tranfer reservations from one Hotel to the other because I asked, being booked in the other…I know some Elise guys locally who are staying at the Radisson also…Thought it was Balmoral but it seems it may actually be the Palace after all…

Hi mate thinking about it, altough might be a deal breaker if the Ring’s not on. From what I understand there is racing on the Fri, Sat & Sun. So good chance it might be closed to the public Wed, Thurs to allow free practice.
If we do come I think I’ll be on paddock widow duty and would probably only make Spa on the Tuesday.
The Ring will be open Wednesday evening according to the hotel, that day is confirmed. The weekend before is endurance racing, I have a few mates going to watch then track it all day on the Sunday. They only intend one day at Spa (Tuesday) taking it easy and driving over on Monday. They are doing Zandvoort also. However it may still open Tuesday evening but it’ll be a wait and see, added to the calendar later…I can�t justify doing the Ring first, �700 or even �400 that is Spa is too much to gamble on losing if you should have any sort of incident at the Ring including breakdown. For me it�s all about Spa!
You should come (Go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go)…and according to Jonny at BaT, if your car passes Donny it�ll be fine at Zandvoort ! Then just get the Ferry almost home…ish
