Well spent the morning looking at routes from Oxfordshire into the Beacons up through Wales along the A470 route running across snowdonia and taking in the Evo triangle up to Betsycowed to bypass motorways… Only 4 months to plan for it!

Let’s talk about that nearer the time. I think it would be great to spear across country rather than our usual M40-M54-A5 route.

Thought some may want to add a quick stop to doth a cap at Mike’s final resting place.

Great idea Ian, we should plan an early start and make Thu a full day and maximise what we can fit in.

You better have a car bud even if it’s a community effort to get the car fighting fit!

On the one hand it’s nice to be at The Bull again after the panic about being " fully booked" but it might have been good for us all to be at Bangor for a blow-out with " the other lot" for the " final" Anglesey bash.
Will try to organise a mini-bus or summat to get us there and back for the legendary curry. Tried last year but was a bit exxy.

Thanks for contributing your opinion everyone. Yes we’re doing Anglesey on Good Friday again but it has proven to be a winning formula.

We will be doing something different in 2018 whether we like it or not,…but that’s not something to worry about now. Right now I’m looking forwards to making the pilgrimage again. See the other thread here :

Yeah without sounding like a kill joy, the idea of getting to hotel, shower, pint, food, then retire at will does appeal
