I'm not sure I can take it...

Yeah like everyone has said, take it easy and go at your own pace.

One thing though, are you scared of hurting yourself or smashing the car to bits? One of the reasons I got out of my Escort Cosworth and got into the Exige was because I had to much money tied up in the Escort and didn’t want to bend it, and I just didn’t enjoy myself as I was worried, especially at tracks like Croft where if you go off, you have a very big chance of it being expensive.

If so, then get yourself something cheaper to whizz around in. Like Randy says, you don’t have to go fast to enjoy yourself.

If you are scared of hurting yourself, then I guess the driver training type days that others have spoke about on here are maybe the way forward.

Stick with it, it will be worth it in the end!!!

Sean…

Robert. Dont worry, you’re not the only one who panics. I have done a number of times, to the point where I felt sick. Its just a bit of fear of the unknown thats all.

The best thing to do is only drive within your limits and just enjoy the car. Like 99.9% of lotus owners who simply dont ever drive at 10/10ths all the time.

Doa few runs and do a bit of Karting witht he Seloc bunch and you’ll start to love the thing.

You’ll be OK.
