I reckon it will, Andy - be very surprised if they sell in excess of 500, assuming they don’t ship them to the USA.
Looking at the movement/expansion into the new markets of China, Asia and Russia, I think the size of these markets will mean they wil be able to shift the first 500 relatively quickly.
These markets are just so large - look at the sales of the Evora GTE as an example.
I think the UK market is commercially almost irrelevant.
I was mistakenly thinking it would only be sold in Europe, Steve. From your post, it appears I’m very wrong!
Maybe sending not sending it to the USA is a deliberate ploy.
If nothing else, it stops Frank getting hold of one, and ‘tinkering’ with it! 
Yeah, its also coming to OZ - but that accounts for not a lot as it will so expensive …
If its going to China and developing countries then maybe … but I’m not sure if the Exige has the right image to sell “thousands” … people here want an image statement … like a Lambo or Ferrari gives … its going to need more success in F1 and marketing of supercars to get that market really going … the Evora is more upmarket ?
Will be interesting to watch the sales figures and see what happens …
I’ve already got the gearbox fitted so droping a V6 in would be cake… The only reason I havent done it is that I can’t use half the torque I have now without breaking the tires loose, putting in the V6 and screwing with it would be going into a direction much like the Hennessey setup…
Too much torque too little traction…
And who can leave the engine stock ? 
will watch how the pioneers of the V6 exige get on closely.

I know I’d see at least 800-900 whp if I took the plunge… I’ve already been lookin at bits along with a 6 speed auto-box… shhhh it’s a secret…

That’s got to be worth a ban on its own!!!
Mind you the box you have in now is virtually an automatic, you never seem to change gear anyway.
