Agree on that side, there’s no substitute to experimenting on your own.
Your car setup and driving style may call for completely different things.
At least you’ve tried it and like it like that better.
In my case, I also tried it and it didn’t work for me, I get a much more planted turn in with toe out, less understeer.
Mind you, now that I’m running different springs, may try it again and see if it makes a difference.
Blink havent responded to my emails. Is there anyone local to leeds/liverpool/hull ? Why isnt there a motorsport company (like plans) in the north west, or am I missing something ?
My front wheels toe OUT as well. I have tried several settings and toeing out deffo gives better, more direct turn in on my car. Having spoken to most of the racing boys on here about geo to, all of them seem to toe the front wheels out aswell.
But like Uldis says, different strokes, for different folks I guess.
As you said depends on how you drive and what people like the car to feel like, but if you look back through a number of threads on here you will see that parallel is recommended for front toe by a certain Lotus engineer who does quite a bit of racing, and quite a few people run parallel toe.
I’ve been running parallel or toe in for almost 4 years on various Elises/Exiges I’ve owned, it suits the way I drive and also a few other I know who run settings I have given them, usually for most people I recommend parallel, but it does depend on all the other settings. It’s also the way I have set up a few cars in the past for work.
