Filling Station Cafe

Weather forecast looks like rain & more rain. Best make use of the indoor seats this time.

Looking doubtful for me, given the weather forecast :frowning: Really need a trip out - last one was November…I think, to the same venue.

Come in the jukebox Rob

Tread on tyres? Check.
Wipers? Check.
Lights? Check.
Roof? Check.

All seems in order to me Rob :sunglasses:

I’ll be bringing my hand crafted shower cap, lovingly created by Mrs T. (Replicas available)

Driving 4 hours in heavy rain, mainly on the M6, & at my age, ain’t too appealing I’m afraid. Fingers crossed we get a dry spell soon, & I’ll defo be up to the Lakes & Yorks Dales!

I’m going to give it miss unfornately 2.5hrs driving in the rain is not fun. Have a good meet guys hopefully we will get some better weather soon

I will be there but will be in an Audi as reg transfers have arrived today so plates have to be changed but I cant use either Exige until I have told insurance.

3 Lotus and cant use any of them :frowning:

Don’t blame you . . . Shrek might Shrink

Dry at home at the moment but the sky looks very grey, I will be setting off at about 9.00 see you there chaps

How did you all get on? Sitting at working thinking I don’t want to be here I could be at Keswick

Just me Pete and Thommo went to Keswick. Weather was sh1te but coffee and sausage sarnies were good. Pete and Thomnmo in Exiges but I chickened out.

Hopefully in another few weeks the spring will have sprung

The weather forecast was shockingly accurate. However, the company, although limited in numbers, was as good as ever.
Never has an Exige driven so slow on the m- way. 50 limit all the way back in howling wind.
I reckon Pesky had the right idea but I needed to hear the cry of the K.
Once back on dryer roads, I gave it full cry. Surprised some Sunday motorists.

Maybe I was better at work :slight_smile:
Hope to catch up with you all soon

PMSL - Northern humour!

Brilliant!

Well said Kieron

Made my night! Well done, Keiron. And thanks, Pesky.

How did you find that Rob ? or were you visiting the Filling Station.

Twas posted on “Pistonheads” forum Pete, & is also on Facebook I believe.
