Extremely good news!

Yup … found that out at Anglesey as well … catch tank is nice idea … but once its out … its … er out …

and not the nicest of stuff to have running about under and about the car…

AP sell a catch tank and fitings for the purpose. Amazingly for AP, they’re not too expensive, aroud 25.

Can’t vouch for availability though!!!

That model aircraft fuel tank (pictured) will cost about a fiver…

If you cover the holes, aren’t you defeating the purpose of the holes being there in the first place ?

It’s a porous cloth tape that stops the splash and soaks up a few drops but still lets the breather work. For me it was either this or the motorcycle style reservoir sock to soak up any spillage.

Small catch tank would be my choice, you can monitor the fluid loss.

OK, So I guess as you need to top up fluid as pad wear etc this is a continueing problem ?

Once we had the first leaks at the weekend and the level found itself it stopped and never happened again …

Even available branded for those with Hondas
