When are we goin evora shopping m8?
When I have finished buying kitchens, living rooms and rental apartments
Tbh at the moment with £30k to spend I’d be tempted to buy a vantage…
Utter bollocks
Utter bollocks
That’s clear then!
Utter bollocks
I’ll second that
Imagine the running costs of a Vantage ??
Dont we like Vantages then? I think they are a great cruiser / posh / nice thing to be out and about in??

Had a close look at a V12 V a couple of weeks ago. Stunning thing it was too.
However, if you cannot justify a Exige anymore, the thought of a £30k aston over an Evora is indeed bollocks and foolhardy.
Logic/rationale & Boothy should not be uttered in the same breath - years of his indecision & mind swapping have taught us that - bless him!
.
Boothy does emit ‘hot air’ …
As can be seen on a certain u tube clip
Re my earlier post:
“Utter bollocks”
Please note the time of despatch. Slightly alcohol-fuelled, so perhaps better left unsaid.
Apols, Boothy.

The funny thing is that when I read it I had concluded same,…I guess we all know each other online behaviour…

Really!!! #clearswebhistory#
You’re all so understanding of our frailties on here. It’s why I like it so much
aston has noise though!
Aston noise is great but Maserati 4.7 is even better
have considered a V8V in the past, great cruiser with low depreciation, however take away depreciation you end up with what could be high running costs, it is a fine balance between the 2 if you are trying to decide, I reckon the Evora will depreciate more but will cost less to run. Sadly Boothy sold a low depreciation low running cost car…
Whoo bejesus, only just checked in to see what I caused.
Just to clarify I sold the exige because I was not using it, not because I needed the money. I cannot justify keeping something I don’t use with that type of money tied up in it. If I used the thing it would be different.
My thoughts on a vantage were I could buy one, run it for a year and sell it for the same. Running costs over a year would not be that bad and so what? Its a tick in a box.
The evora is fab but I don’t understand Tim’s comment in relation to that and the vantage… I love lotus but I can also appreciate other cars. Maybe I would just like a change next…
But for the moment I am not actually missing not having a car enough to actually buy one, that might seem strange to some on here being a forum of petrol heads but it’s true.
Maybe I got old and boring? Even I don’t know the answer to that one yet, all I know is I have not really had an urge to just go out and drive and found the garage empty.
For day to day stuff the c class coupe is fabulous and when I am working I am in the van so I am going to need to want something and right at this minute I find myself not doing.
I really do get the need to own a V8V and if the parking space I have at the station was big enough I might have been tempted to own one for 6 months instead of the new Mini GP I just bought, as you ay little to no depreciation and running costs in that time if you buy right
Me I just can’t be without a car even though I really don’t need one, Jacqui could run me to the station and we could survive with just one car pretty much all the time.
The Mini GP mate, I was so focused on my own car I forgot to look a yours, very very nice!
