Exige S options

Given my lack of Lotus knowledge and the lack of info on the Lotus site I thought I’d ask here what spec would be best given the following requirements…

Will be tracked 1-3 times per month.
Will visit the Nordschleife 4-8 times a year.
Won’t be used as a run about unless I fancy a blatt.

Given these my thoughts on spec are

Air Con required. The Europe trips will need it.
Harnesses required.
Sports exhaust.

What else?

I see some have ‘Sports suspension’. What does this mean 1 or 2-way adjustment?

Are there any other desirable options? Brake upgrades?

Lastly what are the must have tweaks from std. Geo by Guglielmi?

I thought lighter seats.

Are there much aftermarket bits like a carbon fibre spoiler, better/lighter undertray etc.

Lots of questions, thanks in advance

Given all the above and your subsequent posts, it really sounds to me like you should be going for an S1 - I don’t understand your comment about leverage, can you explain a little. The only thing I could think was you were referring to the extra weight on an S2

Was but not anymore.

I am going for a Mar 1st 2008 car. Updated packs for 2008. Sport and Super Sport are combined packs, same for the Touring packs.

So going for a white paint and Sport Pack. Good discounts obtain from 3 dealers, placing order later this morning.

By leverage I mean I will be able to run the car through my business and use it for marketing.

By leverage I mean I will be able to run the car through my business and use it for marketing so it has to be a Toyota based car as the newer cars are all Toyota.

For out and out track performance I would have got an S1 as the weight is the issue with the S2.

I am also looking at a couple of S1 Elise for 5-7k which I will use for driver development on circuit. I am planning a lot of track/tuition time in 2008 and if all goes well financially in 2008 picking up an S1 to use in the Elise Trophy in 2009.
