Not wrong there, but I dare say once you start digging through that posted 40k car you’re on for a decent wedge more once you find all it’s ‘unique features’. The above would be a loverly car though eh, complete with custom choice of silly hue.

Ok I’m going to contradict what I just said: MSC charge 15,600 for a blown honda install, and even with a cheap body swapped car you’re headed towards the OP priced car.

Well, going back to when I was searching for my car, I reckon I would have opted for an S1 Elise in an Exige bodykit BUT only if the car was at a significant discount to a real Exige.
So, yes there is of course value in such a car, but it has to be lower than the real thing.
How much lower depends on the buyer, so the number will vary between people I suppose. For me it would be circa £10k, simply because of my experience with the value/premium applied to rarity in the F car market.
But everyone is different 
40K will buy you an R8 !!
