Has your car been noise tested since all of the mods? if so what was the db level?
My car was noise tested at 96db static. Don’t have any drive by figures.

Same as Will, tested today at Silverstone (GP Circuit) averaged 99db which I’m quite pleased about! I was assured by the circuit it is very accurate. I was also advised to change at 7200 revs to bring it under 98db’s…Donnington or Bedford anyone
flat out exiting Goddards pitlane noise metre had me at 102.5db’s
Just to re-cap that’s my (our) Q/S 421 manifold & titanium catback…along with all the above.
Oops, sorry to hear that. I had the titanium on my car for a couple of weeks to try it after the Lotus Stage 2. Think its slightly quieter than the Stage 2 at the top end, but still pretty noisy. My reason for ditching it was if anything it was noisier than the stage 2 in the mid range.
After the titanium I liased with Hangar 111 and Quicksilver to produce a repackable GT3 style over the diffuser exhaust. Unfortunately this was also at the time that Tubular also started doing the over diffuser exhausts, and they seemed to take off, so I think my prototype was the only one that got made.
Yea I heard that Will. My manifold throws out the exhaust, the general fit is bl**dy poor sitting at an odd angle, there’s been lots a fettling, what is yours like? I’m probably going to remove the whole thing and get a new manifold from Jim, he sent me an exhaust which I tried to fit last night… but again (and I knew this before I started) it threw the whole thing way way out, absolute no chance
The fit on mine is pretty good, no issues with that. Can’t imagine how it would end up at an odd angle. Have you tried rotating the CAT pipe on the manifold. The springs allow for quite a lot of felxability in the positioning of the CAT.
Yep I tried that but the when I say the manifold is out I mean WELL OUT. I sent it back to Q/S who said they’d sorted it but Marianne told me they’d told her no fault found and did nothing!
Get this tho…Jim at 2bular has told me to send it to him and he will get it sorted. Yes I expect a charge but the fact he’ll mend someone elses kit speaks volumes for the guy imho!
