Donington Park Noisy Day : Tue 21st October

Great pics Kieran!

Nope, unless Mark and those boys went,ā€¦the rest of us were all too knackered and slipped off home.

Perfect for ZZR

As above lots of fun. Seems sunnier than I remember.

Cheers bud, I would score that effort 7/10 compared to Daveā€™s 9.5 earlier in the year.

Thatā€™s a bit unfair, surely he was just making them longer.

Fantastic pic Will, you look poised to apply a dab of oppo

How was the footage from your GoPros?

Love it!

Will take a look at the weekend. Hopefully put together a spinners compilation.

first video I open, first corner, a caterham going round and round into the in field of redgate

 Me!

Great day with great guys as usual! Great to see Taff out in his new Elise as well.

I did manage a pirouette in Craners but learned a lot from it - the front suspension was too hard when the rain came down - when we softened it off 3 clicks all was perfect again - thanks tommyracer!

Tom, Andy & myself did have a curry but closer to home as my blackened headlamp covers are absolutely sh*te in the dark!

Great photos, thanks!!!

Roll on Anglesey next Easter!

Anyone fancy two track days at Donington for Ā£150 the pair in December?

Some of us are booked inā€¦

Cheers

It Still in awe of Mr Garthwaiteā€™s Lotus, certainly a move on from the Mk1 Golf GTI I remember him piloting a fair few years ago.

Wow there is a blast from the past!!!. Reminding me of the Golf makes me think the older I get the faster I use to beā€¦
Those golf days were 1995 1996 1997 good time I have to say (The old girl is still on the go)
How did you know of me back then?
Thanks for the comments about the Lotus, Iā€™m still getting to grips with it but I have to say it makes me smile every time I use it, even in the wet at Donnington!!

I have been in and around hot and stock hatch since the late 90ā€™s, amongst other saloon championships. We did speak a couple of years ago at Anglesey, I came out with you in your car.

The car is fantastic, something on my bucketlist but got a few more races to do first.

MarkPH, no worries mate. There are is still more speed in the car with some more adjustments.

Tom

I had the on-board footage out of BatCat No6 off of Mr Lerouxā€¦I was chuckling to myself as I watched it last night  The last couple of sessions (after I lost the starter motor) are missing and the rainy ones are pretty unwatchable (not just because of my driving) but overall worth having for sure. Iā€™ll post up some highlights at some point.

Thatā€™s a shame, I would have liked to have seen your 360o save with jump-start (the triple salchow of the trackday world!).

I know, youā€™ll just have to take my word for it

I believe you, I saw the 360o in my RVM (how rear are those in an Exige?!) and the fact you kept going is evidence of the other.

But I was a little busy a the time, braking from well over 100mph in a rain storm in to the chicane. I just wanted to watch again whilst making appropriate noises.

Great stuff Ben post it up

Yeah Iā€™ll try and do a quick highlights over the weekend showing the various Exigers in circuit. I spent a lot of time in the car, certainly got my monies worth.

I seriously want my car backā€¦

Managed to get some time this afternoon to start looking at the video.
First offering, sorry not the spinners collection. Still practising on the editing.
