BT52If you’ve not already done a wet trackday, I recommend it - seriously. You’ll be amazed how quickly the car will go, & “balancing” the car with your fingertips, throttle & brakes, as you must in the wet, is great fun. You also tend to get lots of track space, because the Caterfields are loathe to go out when it’s peeing down.Don’t get me wrong, I’d much rather do a dry day, but a wet day needn’t be a “washout” [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/wink.gif[/image][This message has been edited by Pesky (edited 20 November 2002).]
I’d just rather wait for a dry one.If we go on a wet day we just end up using the Impreza instead because it is SO much faster. On the other hand, tomorrow is a bit of both by the looks of it.
BT52Still not sure if you’ve actually done a wet day in the Exige, though.Last Saturday at Oulton, only cars quicker than me were 2 Impreza WRXs - & then only because they were 4 wheel drifting on opposite lock through some of the corners. I just didn’t have the bottle/skill to go any quicker myself - & that is a criticism of my mine, rather than the car’s capabilities!

Especially after last Sunday with the 048s for the first time.
