What it really needs is more low end torque. More power would be a nicety.
We can tune the stock ecu very successfully. We use the Fastworks Editor and have two projects currently in build to use only the oem ecu. Project 1 is an N/A setup with built head, higher comp, itbs (that fit in the elise therefor exige) this setup is more for loons like JonnyFox :-p Project 2 is a turbo car. Which will be fun.
We are trying to.see how the OEM ecu can work at both ends of the spectrum. So far so good, the editor does everything you need, and we have full access to ALL tables. We have literally just ordered a Hub dyno to replace our rolling road so our customer will get the very best facility.
We will launch ourselves into market shortly, however we will only make the jump when we can offer the best service and repeatability.
brilliant.
I have just been round silverstone in a v6 cup as a passenger and driving. No need to charge my exige, I need to learn to drive.
Deffo sell and buy a SC car.
Or keep it Stock, I have always been a great believer in keeping cars stock
LOL!
Never mid stock. “Matching numbers”, thats the real deal
I spoke with Jim @ 2bular.
I need a new cat for my S2 N/A Exige, so buying a sports cat from him.
He told me to get the manifold - this alone can give 15bhp.
He said, 2bular manifold, sports cat & back box - TRD air filter & a “Back on Track” Remap - he reckons 190bhp at the wheels. (which is about 225bhp)
With that setup and a remap you should see between 200 and 210. 225 isn’t realistic. Look at all the work that Jonny Fox needed to get there on his na.
