Interesting on the Goodyears, given peoples misgivings on the T1Rs, I was leaning towards giving them a go for wet track/road use.

The Goodyear eagles gave fantastic grip to the S2 (on 15" rims all round - can’t quite sus that) I never got a chance to chat to him, because he boogered off almost as quickly as they called a halt at around 1:30pm. I am still dying to get the story behind them.
If you are looking for something to try on your original rims, then I reckon you should give em a whirl… and report back
