Audi powered S1 Elise

Can’t help thinking someone doesn’t really have their heart in selling this…

Dan’s a perfectionist and is still doing a few final bits to it, to get it totally ‘finished’. I think you are right though Steve, Dan wouldn’t be selling it if he didn’t have to.

If mine was “saleable” at the moment I’d be putting an ad on PH and buying Dans car …

Dans is a bargain for someone ultimately after a quick motor …
Ps.I forgot , I can’t even drive a lowly 300 yet :frowning:

If I was not looking to move house I would have a look at it, love S1 exiges but I did the same think as Ade when I got mine.
Drove both and bought the S2, however I hardly need to use it now and it was used most weekends when I bought it so my views may of changed.

Silly question - does this car have the boot divider fitted and the boot space still available - I can’t quite make out the exhaust/intake arrangements to be certain from the posted photos?

Haha, yeah, got to confess that it’s not something I’m particularly excited about!
I’ve spent so much time and cash on it over the last year that I feel I owe it to the car to finish everything to the same standard I’d want if I was keeping it, which just takes time…

I went to see the progress on Friday and most of the Idle Control Valve physical work is done. It could have just been T’d into an existing pipe on the inlet manifold and via an adapter on a silicone hose before the throttle, but it’s been done properly - charge cooler and inlet manifold both came off to have dedicated pipes welded in.

One other job that I’ve always wanted to do is to test a smaller exhaust housing on the turbo. Have got the alternative housing, will decide whether to fit and test it next week…

In answer to the boot divider question, there isn’t one. There probably is room for a small storage box to be fitted if wanted though.

Deposit now taken.
Assuming the balance arrives as planned, the car will be converted for race use in Hong Kong!

A sad day …

fingers crossed for you

Yeah a sad day indeed.

Lovely  Wish I had some spare cash kicking 'round.
