It dont work online, you have to disable your internet connection to the ps3, otherwise it will appear to be really slow, like not doing anything, even patch one hasnt sorted it. Hope they sort it tomorrow…

One thing - how on earth do I get rid of the bloody annoying background music - I want to hear the engines! The only way I found is by disabling each track one by one which takes forever.

Haha yup 2 patches In 3 days, must be cus of online cheats I assume?
Rest of the game is just HD GT4, AI still sucks, lots of stupid cars you don’t want to drive and lots if cars missing that you would like to drive, 6 years in the making I expected more tbh, on the plus side it’s 1080p with a nice steady frame rate clearly very well polished it just feels old fashioned, ppl grew out of rx7’s and skylines years ago once FATF was finished.
I think It’s fair to say F1 2010 isn’t as good looking but gameplay wise yes it’s challenging but I don’t think frustratingly so like GT5 the Top Gear challenges are ridiculously hard after you’ve been used to playing the begginer series, you can’t run into anyone and you can’t cut corners too much or run over too many cones you have to start last you all have the same car and you have 3 laps on a fast tight circuit, honestly if you think F1 2010 is hard that one event in GT5 is on another level, the rest is easy you just buy the best car for the race.
I certainly wouldn’t trade F1 2010 for this, I would trade the framerates for Monaco F1 2010’s are appauling but it is more exciting GT5 is boring tbh.
I think need for speed hot pursuit is loads better, licensed cars burnout style, quality

just to let you know its not 1080p, its running at 1280x1080 so its far off 1080p.
1080 lines is correct for 1080p but 1280 is wrong that would make it 4/3 not 16/9 it needs to be 1920x1080

Ok and just to let you know DSE GT5 does run at 1920x1080@60 or at least mine does, not sure what setup you have if your getting 1280x1080 I think you mean 1280x720 aka 720p which is what most PS3 games run at and GT5 too if your sceen can’t manage at least 1080i I think you can go as low as 480p or somthing like that using scart or composite connections which kind of defeats the idea of having a HD console might as well just stick with PS2.
Actually it runs at 1280x1080 as DSE mentioned. It is then stretched/upscaled to 1920x1080. So in reality its not full 1080p.
