No it does clear, if you have a look back to page 1 of my original post, you’ll see a pic of the engine in car, where air filter comes to.
It has all been dry fitted and fits! or it did!!!
Hoping to have body on chassis quite soon, so will post some more then.

thanks guys, it is good to see it finally come together, but still lots to do so doubt I’ll be out in it this summer, should be ready for next spring though…I’m a very slow mechanic!

screen went in last night, chrome strips fitted to screen and bumper:
clutch and brakes plumbed in and bled, exhaust fitted, dash electrics nearly finished
nearly there!
