Anglesey 3rd April

Count me in for one please Mike

Peeps

Mike will start a new thread (excuse pun) for firm orders…he will of course require confirmation of the required quantity/size

One for me as well. Large please.

Looks great - will keep an eye open for the sales thread!

Mark

OK, I have just spoke to Jonny at BAT and he is totally cool for us to leave cars in the Anglesey car park over night on Friday 2nd.

However the gates to the circuit will be locked at 6pm, so you must have arived, dropped your car off and left before 6pm.

Sean…

Nice one Sean - thanks for that :sunglasses:

Have these two threads now become one

AARRGGGHH! Deja vu. Perhaps I’m not well.

:frowning:

That’s not good… :frowning:

TYPICAL bloody BA!!!

Totally hopeless!

Hope you make it back. :frowning:

I have just taken a place for Anglesey and need some help. Are there any mechanics going on this trackday? My elise is going to need new pads during the day (probably) and I was wondering if anyone would be able to fit them for me ?

Sean - is John going ?

Bookatrack generally have reasonably priced mechanics on their trackdays, or prior organise something with JS Racing?

Already checked with BaT but their mechanics arent attending the day, they are at Silverstone with their R300s.

Hopefully Sean will confirm that JS Racing will be there.

I’m sure they are, a I mght be dropping my car back with them for the gearbox to be done.

If it were me I would get them changed before I went on track at all if they are low enough you might run out, but that is me.

I might have a go at doing it myself before then. Never done it before, so probably time I learnt. Thanks.

Ref info here if you’re doing beforehand (like Ade says, if they are going to need doing best get them done before). elise-faq.info
If you’re totally stuck on the day I could do it/show you at lunchtime (we’d just need someone with a jack).

Cheers,
Ali

Excellent, thank you. I will give it a go. If I’m not there on the day you know it went bad.

You may be joking there but if in any doubt get it professionally checked. IIRC it says so in the FAQ but brakes are safety critical and not worth taking a risk.

As Ali says best to be safe and get checked. I have had full set fitted for Anglesey.
Last year didnt check and needed fronts at end of the morning. I didnt learn from this and ran out of pads at Oulton but at end of day. I now carry a spare set.
