Yes… up the M5 to the M54 then to Telford, A5 etc etc… NOT via Newport etc as that would take AGES thru South Wales etc…
Michael-Wood services on the M5 about 15 miles North of Bristol so that would be a good place to meet up with you, IDG, Benja and any other ‘Southerners’.
About 12-1300 is sounds good… that leaves circa 3.5 hours to go.
From Michael Wood it is then 1.30 hrs to Telford Services where the other guys may be meeting up.
Sean… nice idea about ‘lunch’ but think that would be a bit late… besides we would all get distracted with your ‘shop’!
The Welsh roads I spoke of off the A5 are just brill… and they should be totally deserted too!

Having looked at the map, it would be better to meet at the next services north on the M5, Strensham, so those coming from the East can cut the corner from Swindon to Gloucester along the A419.
