A nice surprise, CN's content

Looks good Boothy. I quite fancy that if the engine cover can be modded without costing too much…

Give Paul a shout Tim, I am sure he can work something out

I got a quick snap of the boot today but its raining so was not getting wet
This one shows the quality of the finish to the boot, as I say you would not know its not a complete new lid.

Very nice!

Looks great - just shows how much time/effort Lotus spent on the 2010 facelift doesn’t it !!!

You’re car’s looking more and more like mine except in red !!

Now available in pink

That looks fantastic. It’s the same colour as mine, so it almost had me convinced to go for the same treatment. I’ve decided to wait a few weeks and see if there’s another facelift for the rumoured V6 Exige at the Geneva motor show. That might give me another option

Nice one !

your car looks pretty much as mine (red Exige S240), although i still have the oil spoiler on the back. Can you please post a picture of the black ring around the fuel fillercap. would be interested to see it in detail, before ordering one from elise shop.

much appreciated, mate ! Thanks.

I hear the same thing about the V6, 50/50 chance of being at Geneva , fingers crossed .

Yep… it will be the now Lotus trademark…

Performance… through heavyweight!

Lol ,we will have to see , I would be a bit pissed off though if I had rushed out to buy one of final run of Exiges and then they started making a V6 .

They’re not going to do it…I’ve been told by someone at Lotus that the figures don’t work…basically it would have to sell for 50k + and Lotus know at that sort of money an exige won’t sell in sufficient numbers to make the investment worthwhile.

I’m not sure I buy that logic. The Evora sells at less than 50K, and the Exige must cost less to build. I agree that it’s in danger of pricing itself way out of the market, though.

I’m still hoping they can keep the Exige alive, whether it’s with a V6, or a new 4 banger.

i asked someone i know at Lotus factory and that person said they couldn’t comment on the V6 and smiled , that person didn’t say no though and that was last week.
My Exige when new cost nearly 45k and the prices i was getting for the Cup 260s last year had been nearly 50k .
The Evora S can cost nearly 70k top spec , come on Lotus- keep the Exige alive!

When I bought my Exige last year from Murray Lotus the salesman told me that my car had “Lotus” as the previous owner (hence the AU59 reg) and that the car was actually owned and ran for 4 months by the regional Lotus Sales Director.
Being the picky bloke I am I decided to track down the guy and speak to him directly about the car before parting with my hard earned (to make sure it wasnt crashed/trashed/tracked, etc). Anyway to cut a long story short I’ve stayed in contact with the guy - he’s still with Lotus and currently now out in the middle east somewhere.
It was him who told me that a V6 Exige isnt going to happen due to costs, altho a test mule does exist.

Look great and I’m thinking of the same thing;- Thought sombody here said that a MY 2010 splitter would not go on an earlier car though.
