600bhp Audi Exige GT3

Don’t waste it on them, the really Exige/JSR fans are here!  [/quote]

But everybody knows about JSR on here, I figured a few more people should know about them!

Oooookay, good point well made.

Not sure how i missed this thread!

I’ve been eyeballing JSR’s audi conversions for a while now and it looks like you’re building pretty much exactly what i’d like done to my Exige. How’s the build coming on?? Any updates/pics?? Is it going to make it to the Lotus festival???

The car should hopefully be going to the rolling road next week.

Today actually, will post up results if I get a chance from the rolling road…

I’m super interested in this conversion. Really depends on what I can realistically fetch for my engine. Might start a thread to get some opinions. I have a komotec 280 S2 with jubu gears and final drive.

What’s driveability of the Audi conversion like on the track? And is the power available and use able?

JSRacing…

I have driven Christians car (not in anger) and it is super drivable on the road. On the track looking at how well it has gone so far, it is bloody mental!!

I haven’t done anything on the car for over a year as we now have a 1 year old daughter so that kind of put the brakes on things.

The car has been plugged in to a trickle charger though and I have been starting it every 2-3 weeks.

As the wife is back to work in a few weeks I have arranged for the car to be worked on again from this coming weekend.

A recent picture.

Yes

So the rumours of you possibly selling it are unfounded then?

Good to see you getting it back on… look forward to seeing updates…

Yea likewise, go for it.

It has finally been mapped at 567 bhp and 405 lb/ft at TDIs hub dyno.

The cooling needs improving slightly and the exhaust manifold needs modifying to channel more air through the wastegate, then it should be possible to wind it up to 600bhp safely.

Great news Greg.

Next years Exiges.com event has to be the ‘Clash of the Titans’ and we should try and get all the mental engine conversion out, yours, Quo’s, Andy’s, Marc’s, Pat’s etc etc.

Beast…

Well done Greg. Got any pictures?

No, I haven’t taken any pictures of the car for over a year I don’t think.

Be good to see some progress
