One other thing that has been ‘updated’ over the years is the internal design of the LED rear lights.
The first batch lotus used on the early 2006/7 cars were RUBBISH and loads of us have had problems with LEDs failing etc.
The new “C” part number version appears to have sorted the problems out - but watch out for them if you’ve got early ones as they retail at about 140 each.
The new style black dash includes passenger airbag, 3 shift lights behind the rev counter etc.
I personally don’t like it as I loved the cloth covered dash of the early cars, but it’s personal choice.
Watch for the front indicators misting up too - you may need to drill a couple of small holes into the back of the bulb carrier to let them breathe sufficiently. A lot of hot air is at the front with the rad etc, so if any moisture is there it just makes it worse and worse.
