Re: Ohlins 2 Way with 450/600lb Springs

Springs shouldn't set you back too much. Maybe worth a call to Mick Gardener, after being introduced to him by Gav, I've always found them very helpful. Actually PM Gav on here, Tarmac Terrorist (Kevlar Kid Seloc). I had what he had on his 160, 350/450. Drove beautifully. Both will help out with va...

Re: Ohlins 2 Way with 450/600lb Springs

Cheers for the replies chaps. I see you (jonnyfox) have a set of these, what spring rates do you use for road? If I was able to get hold of 350/450 springs and fit them to the ohlins would revalving be required (assuming valved for 450/600) or is there enough adjustment in the bump and rebound to al...

Ohlins 2 Way with 450/600lb Springs

For those that have these fitted can they be made (via either the bump or rebound) compliant enough for road usage as well as occasional track use?

Re: VHPD Engine inspection

Very good point this, it seems even some 'experts' don't know. My car at some point got reverted to standard timing which I only realised at the last cambelt change (courtesy of the eagle-eyed Byron, our friendly neighbourhood Lotus master tech :geek: ) Standard timing shown in the photo for compar...

Re: Heater Temperature Switch Stuck

Thank you for the fast comprehensive replies. Got it to move with the use of a lovely assistant. The knob now moves much further round though (way past the max hot position) and returns to the position above. The part that the lever/cable is mounted to in the diagram moves about quite a bit (not jus...

Heater Temperature Switch Stuck

The rotating switch that controls the temperature (aircon model) will only rotate from full hot back to the 7 o'clock position (as shown) and go no further.

Has anyone come across this or have any idea on how to solve it?

Re: Front bumpsteer

Cheers for that, makes interesting reading. I would like to achieve as close to the original bumpsteer that was designed for the s1 (obviously measured at 140mm rh makes for a very different graph to the one above). So, on my S160 I have set up now the reduced front bumpsteer arms that came with the...

Re: S1 Exige T-Shirts

The seller did explain the S2 ones would require reinforced stitching and the S3 ones new arms altogether due to the weight of the print

S1 Exige T-Shirts

Just received some quality S1 Exige T-Shirts. I couldn't find any of the S1 Exige so contacted the eBay seller (auto-steve) to see if he would print some: https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7863/46264106855_b63bf55bea_k_d.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7828/47126386792_5f8a115f3d_k_d.jpg There's var...
