Yeah there are always people looking for a hardtop seal - I believe they have been obsolete for a number of years but listed on DeRoure at £132. Sounds good, what was the reason for changing the bolt and didt it make any difference? Never used a synchrometer but I love an excuse to but a tool...

Anybody changed their standard foam witches hat for a cotton gauze (K&N etc.) type? Does it make any difference to the induction noise?

Think the general consensus is to have it not pointing directly at the incoming airflow to stop it sucking in water, but with a couple of extra long cable ties, you can pull it towards the scoop and at a 45 deg angle. Interestingly enough, the hose is directional! Think you've removed the 2nd filter...
