Re: Any Yorkshire folks fancy a meet?

Ah I missed the next Tuesday bit. Yep I can make that date, but obviously waterwheel won't work. I think we just need to know who's interested and pick somewhere halfway central. I can't imagine it'll be huge numbers on relatively short notice, but if we can make it a somewhat regular thing I reckon...

Waterwheel still open and is petrolhead friendly (and only 15mins from me).

Re: V-Power Prices

148p is up there with the motorway service stations around here at the moment. Our local Shell is around 130ish, and the Tesco we have probably 5p cheaper than that. Generally I aim to use Tesco, but it's a bit out of the way compared to Shell - and right now with the aforementioned 'Go' card thing ...

Re: Limited Slip Diff - yes or no

I have an S2 and I'd love to do a back to back comparison with an LSD equipped car. I get inside wheelspin on occasion but generally the car has far more grip than I'm able to exploit, but I do wonder how many doors would be opened if I had an LSD on board! Knowing the issues the C64 may have at som...

Re: Brake pads.

If noise bothers you as much as it bothers me, then go for the Pagid RS4-2's rather than the 14s. Not quite the same stopping capability but they wear well on circuit, never had issues with fade on them and they're pretty quiet.

Re: Exige V6 air intake - pinched from another site.

It seems like the 'before' graph is the most suspect one, something like a small boost leak or a configuration issue on the dyno. Even if the 'before' graph showed the ~350bhp that was expected, it's still a bloody good increase to make the ~390 afterwards. I dunno how significant it is in dyno term...

Re: Geometry.

I have just been out and adjusted the pressures. Increased front to 26 ( it was 24 ) and 28 rears. Spotted a slight issue with the front left at 16. I guess thats where my understeer was coming from! Oooops Still would like some ballpark figures to work with for the geo. Ill use the ones suggested ...

Re: Geometry.

I'm completely guessing having never run AD08R myself but those pressures seem pretty low for a road setup. You're unlikely to generate more than a pound or two with road driving I guess. I always aim for 30psi on my tyres as a starting point (hot), it's just a nice round number. You're unlikely to ...
