Re: Exige 240S
Looks very nice.
You say 'stretched your budget' , but almost any other car you could have bought will have lost more money in the short period that you have owned it than the Exige cost you extra.
Man maths.........yeah
I used to change the oil and filter after every second track day!

Re: Static noise test
92 static with a Chris Tullett large back box and de cat but it's the drive by that buggered me.
Supercharger whine trips the meters. Stupid really as the high pitched stuff doesn't travel to the houses, it's the low pitched exhaust stuff that's the environmental issue

I would say that the extra vibrations and noise don't get better with time, you just get used to them.
I personally didn't think the upgrade to 3 ways was worth the money.

Re: 2006 Exige S
You won't regret the SSC gears, they are great. Your ratios mean you'll probably use 6th on track. I could just hit the rev limiter (3rd light) in 5th at Spa and goodwood and never needed 6th ( which with the celica in, it does drop the revs noticably) My FD was an SSC std ratio

Re: 2021 Exiges track day
The LoT website shows that the number of spaces left is down to the teens. No panic yet but it is filling up. There are quite a few additional Exiges we have booked with their Exigerhams including Ben and JonnyFox. Don't believe Le Renard can make it but it sounds like the other Ferrets are coming ...

Re: New Garage Build
I have a pit with a jacking beam and a 4 post in the other bay. Tough, but I think the pit is more handy The 4 post has a motorbike scissor lift in it for jacking axles up. http://www.sjrgarageequipment.co.uk/parking-lifts/ I have their 'Model 1' https://www.motea.com/en/motorbike-scissor-lift-const...
