Re: Mods

For induction noise just put a TRD intake with ITG filter and you're good to go. Quick throttle blips when stationary even have that lovely suction sound. You will however struggle with track noise limits. Lowering is not as straight forward - of course depending on starting point, target ride heigh...

Re: 3D Printing - Lotus Stuff

The Sidewinder X1 seems like great value at the moment, but of course more money spent = better performance.
Two weeks ago I "needed" a Voron 2.4 or a RatRig V-core 3.....€€€€

Re: 3D Printing - Lotus Stuff

I mostly print stuff like this.
Car audio build thread in Swedish http://www.bilstereoforum.se/showthread.php?t=37108

Also used it quite a bit to print alignment pieces for my chassis repair jig. If anyone is interested I may have some pictures of that.

Re: 3D Printing - Lotus Stuff

Thanks, nice find. I will definitely download and take a look. A couple of years ago I got myself a cheap Anet A8 printer at 50% discount. Immediate upgrades were absolutely necessary and that pushed the cost up to maybe 130€ or so, but for the money it's been great. 3D printing is great, but it is ...

The wires to my front fuse box are under a fair bit of strain. Is this normal?
I would like to have a bit of slack instead.
Anyone who has experienced the same, and how did you solve it (if you did)?

Re: Castor shims

Ok, so tapped into place at the rear.
But it looks like the nut is fouling the rack gaitor.
Please rotate head 90° CCW.

Castor shims

Having done a wishbone refurb and fitted some wishbone bearings from HPE Dan. Now, how in (place you favorite swearing here) do you fit all of the castor shims? The bearing collets must be a bit wider than the OE bushings since it was a “mallet” fit at the rear end. Anyone else having a similar expe...
