I’ll be coming off a night at Harlow so somewhere in the middle? From my days in Essex The Hare at Roxwell or the Windmill at South Hanningfield are good 👍

Check, wasn’t the isolator; ‘twas a bad earth after finding out the bump start way again.

After some tinkering and talking to Dan (and having purchased a new battery) it appears it’s come down to a faulty battery isolator. All been well problem solved.

Any way of knowing it’s definitely the alternator over the battery? Started the car Saturday, turned it off and left it for 20 minutes. In that time it had lost the ability to crank. Had a multimeter check on Friday evening between the battery and the chassis with the car running and it was holding ...
