Re: Exiges.com Trackday 2020

Sad but inevitable I think. Too much uncertainty for me to commit to another date right now so I think I'll just opt for a credit on my LoT account and book on somewhere later in the year. Already had to postpone my pre-Anglesey suspension refresh and mapping session :(

Take care everyone.

Re: Exige S1 number one for sale

I see #001 is now at Lotus Silverstone https://www.lotussilverstone.co.uk/vehi ... xige-U254/

Looks a relative bargain given they also have a silver one in, without the provenance and higher miles, only £2k less :?

Re: VHPD Engine inspection

I was also worried that the cam pulleys did not look aligned as the K series workshop manual suggests. After a quick check with Dave Andrews of DVA power fame he tells me it's correct for a 190 VHPD. That's worth knowing for anyone else who is a VHPD novice. Very good point this, it seems even some...

There's one popped up on Seloc classifieds but I think it's in Italy, and not cheap!

Re: New Member S1

Hi & welcome  Nice car, I do love Nautilus blue!

I'm sure you'll be very welcome in your S1 at Anglesey (or any Lotus On Track day for that matter). I'll be there in mine so I hope so!

I was there a few years ago and had a blast even amongst some very quick stuff.

Re: Hello!

I'm of the opinion, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Appreciate the work and upgrades you've done so far

Unless phpBB becomes unmanageable or has security holes, stick with it?

Happy to lend a hand on the tech side if you need anything, btw :geek:

Cheers
Dan.

Re: Battery telltale light at high RPM

Cheers, yeah, it can be chicken and egg with batteries and alternators, a bad one of either can kill the other.

Going to get the car in the air and check the belt tension tomorrow. I'm really hoping the alt doesn't have to come out as it's a right pain with the aircon pipes in the way
