Re: Limited Slip Diff - yes or no

Very little to lose by adding an LSD, the changes I noticed on track, are Earlier on the power in tight corners Much more sure footed in the wet and gave a lot more confidence Only downside I ever found was that it could push on and make the car understeer a little more, that was never an issue though

Hence me ending up with a cheap (ish) S1 Elise for nice sundays and the Clio to abuse
You're from Essex, it's the wife for abuse.

Re: Brake pads.

Ha! I ran them on the Meg r26 I had. Were also good. I am aware that some products work well on one model but not another hence my question. I hate answering my own question with another question as well :) Agreed, on here we have had issues with RS14 pads depositing on discs (we all think they cha...

Anyone run Ferodo Ds1:11?

Just changed to them on my Clio after running the DS3500, seem very good indeed. I only use them as they do not do PF for the brake setup I have on the Clio

Re: Lastest tyre trend

I used to use the super soft GGGG on the front of my Exige, it was the only way I could get enough temperature in them, downside was they wore away at the same rate as the rears :o
